'We are experiencing new levels of God’s perpetual presence expressed through His adoring love. God’s abiding manner is creating an oasis for many in this place.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me (us), for He has appointed me (us) to preach Good News to the poor. He has sent me (us) to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the downtrodden will be freed from their oppressors and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come” (Luke 4:18-19 NLT)
God is demonstrating His goodness to us in extravagant ways. He began and ended our year with two creative and life saving miracles. First, God cleared two lungs of terminal cancer. Second, He replaced a partially dead heart with a perfectly healthy heart for someone else. We thank God for continuing to express His love to people through His powerful works of grace, forgiveness, healing and freedom in Christ.
